Travaasa Hana is a boutique resort nestled in a gorgeous remote setting on the eastern tip of Maui, Hawaii. If you want someplace to escape and relax, this is where you want to stay.

Not only will you enjoy luxurious accommodations, but you can also embrace the relaxing atmosphere with plenty of activities to feed your body and soul.

The resort is located in the town of Hana, an excluded area on the Island of Maui. It is only accessible by small plane or by driving on the infamous and breathtaking Road to Hana.

Travaasa Hana's goal is to make you feel like part of the family while you relax and unwind at the spacious facility. The experienced staff greets you with a lemon-scented cool towel, a traditional glass of Pog, and a beautiful lei upon arrival.

And that's just the beginning of your unforgettable experience at this magnificent resort

Facts About Travaasa Hana

The resort features two outdoor pools, one of which is near a fire-pit where guests can purchase s'mores-making kits. There are also ping-pong and foosball tables located onsite. In addition, numerous activities are available to make your stay a pleasurable one.

It was named the number one boutique hotel and experiential retreat by Hawai'i Magazine's readers in 2018.

Getting to the resort

One of the best ways to get to Travaasa Hana is by car via the Road to Hana.

The 68-mile drive takes 2 to 4 hours and features the most beautiful scenery you'll ever see in your life. Gorgeous waterfalls, streams, and rainforests will take your breath away as you travel down the twisting and turning highway.

Much of the road is one-lane with the Pacific Ocean on one side and cliffs on the other. However, there are places where you can stop for a quick breather and take in the stunning landscape.

As an alternative, the hotel offers an exclusive flight from Kahului to Hana Airport on Mokulele Airlines. And the hotel has a free shuttle to take you directly to the resort.

The roundtrip airfare is free if you book the all-inclusive package for three or more consecutive nights.

However, other flights from Kahului to Hana not associated with the resort are available.
